Spring Designer Showcase Nov 5-11
Offers
Versatile Styles & Inspired Fabrics
to
Accentuate Every Body Type
Less frill, easier-to-wear styles denote a feminine
sophistication for Spring’s fashion and jewelry
Charlotte, NC – Today’s
image-conscious woman comes in all shapes and sizes, and the Spring 2007 Designer
Showcase Collection, to be presented at Rahe Lynne Clothier November 5th
through 11th, proves that
designers have taken notice with mindful attention to details and versatility. According to Lynne Byrd, owner of Rahe Lynne
Clothier, whose clients range from women in their 20s to 60s, this year’s
collection, more than any other in previous years, offers a fabulous array of
options. “Women who are active and vibrant at any age demand fashions that are
easy to wear and accentuate their personal style all at the same time,” states
Byrd.
“Age, body shape
and lifestyles underscore how fashion designers have responded to the unique
challenge of bringing fashion to a diverse clientele of accomplished women,”
states Byrd. “Fashion has now become as much about where it is going to be worn
as it is who is going to be wearing it. This year’s Spring and Pre-Spring
collections offer wonderful versatility, with more dresses that are less girlie
and depict a feminine sophistication for
the office or a social outing. Suiting is more tailored, yet versatile in
options to cater to all body types to accentuate each woman’s best features.”
Another aspect of
the upcoming season’s designs is a focus on the cuts, patterns and actual
construction of each piece. “While in years past the accoutrements and what was
added to the fabrics as accents was the emphasis, this season brings
interesting details and stunning individuality in what has gone into the actual
construction of each garment,” explains Byrd. “There is a renewed polish to the
designs that exudes confidence and a calming of fashion from how it fits the
body and brings out the best in the woman who wears it.”
Collections to be
showcased at the November Trunk Show include Lafayette 148, Trixi Schober,
Raffinalla, and Rahe Lynne’s continually expanding private designer line. Rahe
Lynne will also be welcoming special guest,
A new accessory
line will also be featured at the Showcase offering exquisitely handcrafted
necklaces, earrings and bracelets by Basia, a Canadian designer line that
combines the simple elegance of sterling silver, 14k yellow and white gold with
unique accents and combinations of fresh water pearls, lava rocks, corals, and
semi precious stones. “We debuted Basia earlier this month with fabulous
response from our clientele. So, we have significantly expanded our offering of
necklaces and earrings to be shown of this line for our November show,” says
Byrd.
