Rahe Lynne Clothier to debut its own
designer line of knit fashions

Boutique owner, Lynne Byrd, and co-designer, Sandra Lewis, to introduce the
Rahe Lynne Collection of easy-travel knitwear at special event on August 21, 2005

 

Charlotte, NC - After nearly a year in development, Lynne Byrd and co-designer, Sandra Lewis, will be presenting the Rahe Lynne Collection of knitwear designs at a special showcase event. The event will take place in the boutique's by-appointment-only showroom Sunday, August 21, 2005, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Rahe Lynne Clothier's clientele were the inspiration for the line designed for the well-traveled woman who desires clothing that is strong on image, but is suitcase friendly. "We were continuously hearing from our clients the need for fashions that look fabulous and yet also were easy to take on the road," states Lynne Byrd. "So, we developed a series of sportswear components that will combine the detailed panache our clients have grown to expect with unique knit blends to help make traveling and looking great a breeze."
The collection will showcase more than two dozen pieces of colorful combinations and contrasting black and whites in wool blends with fox trim, cashmere and saphora yarns. The Rahe Lynne Collection features an array of separates including tops, skirts, pants, jackets and dresses. The debut is taking place in conjunction with the boutique's exclusive Fall 2005 Designer Showcase featuring the Lafayette 148 Collection from August 18 - 23, 2005.

The designs were also created with both the casual traveler and business traveler in mind to offer professional business ensembles as well as casual options. In addition, with a variety of cuts and styles, the collection will offer options to enhance sizes ranging in body types and shapes from petites to plus. According to Sandra Lewis, who brings more than 30 years in the fashion industry, the designs will be ultra comfortable and versatile while enhancing a woman's unique form and love of fashion.
